Resort-style living in Lotus

Before residents enter the quiet Lotus community, they are greeted by a large, elevated water fountain and manicured grounds with palm trees. Like surrounding subdivisions, the resort-style community has 24-hour security at the main entrance. "Lotus is somewhat less pricey than [nearby developments like Boca Bridges]. People will look here if they are searching for newer construction in a great community," says Roberto Cortina, a Boca Raton resident and real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate. Every home in Lotus has a backyard view of a pond, and residents can access private amenities at the clubhouse

A secluded community of 525 residences by GL Homes

The developer GL Homes constructed each house within the private subdivision. The community features houses built from 2019 to 2023. "The homes are contemporary and minimalist. There are home models that offer different configurations," Cortina says. Overall, the private neighborhood includes about 525 residences planted on lots a quarter of an acre in size or smaller. Properties show trimmed front lawns; many have backyard saltwater pools and spas. The development includes single- and two-story dwellings with attached multi-car garages. Houses range in price from about $1.3 million to $2.7 million.
